Yperano supports mainly the young talent, and we will always be happy to sign promising newcomers. That doesn't mean that we are not be willing to sign a band that has been going around for a while and is more established.

We will be happy to work with all kinds of Metal, (which is our first priority as a label), Hardcore and Rock bands that we feel that have a serious artistic and commercial potential. (If you feel that even though you don't fit into those categories, but you are a very, very good band / artist, that deserves a break, we will be glad to listen to your material, and consider a possible signing.)

We don't care where you are coming from, and what your background is. Location, race, or sex is not a concern for us. YPERANO has already signed 5 bands and is in negotiations to sign some more, but their location and the nationality was never a concern for us.

We will carefully listen to your music, regardless of what format it is on, or the quality of the actual recording. (Of course a good recording is always a plus, but then, we realise that not anyone can achieve a good recording. Therefore, we are relaxed about this aspect). Along with your music, you should send all the lyrics to the songs that you will be sending along, a photograph, and a short biography.

We also have a big interest on bands that have produced self financed CD's / tapes / vinyl's, or bands that are signed to non-UK labels. We are looking to re-release / license / promote your album or depending on the occasion, use some of your material on compilation albums.

Let us talk about the qualities that we are looking for, in our bands / artists. Most important is the ability to present decent, hopefully memorable, and certainly interesting songs, that can transmit feelings and energy to the listener. Technical abilities are great to have, and really very welcome and appreciated, but those will have to work for the song, (in order to compliment the song), not against the song.

Dedication is very essential. We don't want to deal with a band that doesn't care about it's own business. You will have to be committed in giving your best, in all occasions. We can realise that not all bands can afford to rehearse all day, write new songs and promote themselves in any possible way, but then give us a good reason why we should be interested to sign a band that deals with the above activities, only occasionally! We want to sign bands or artists that are going to be ready and willing to promote themselves with concerts and tours (given the chance), interviews, etc. and then work enough to have new material ready, for any given chance to record new songs.

We give big emphasis on your ability to present yourselves in the best possible way live. We will definitely check the way that a band performs live before any signings are made. You will have to be serious as a person individually and / or as a band collectively. We don't want to work with immature and undeveloped characters. Lots of bands don't realise that, when a company is investing time and money on them is also expecting a few things back from the artists as well. So once you put your signature down on the Yperano contract you are expected to honour that contract in every possible sense of the word.

Now that you know what we are expecting from you, you might like to know what we could offer. We can guarantee to pay the bills for all the recordings while on contract with us.

Lots of promotional material will be given to magazines, radio and TV stations, newspapers, etc. We will actively encourage them to present your albums. We are also confident that our budget for paid advertisements is healthy enough to guarantee healthy exposure. We will also try to organise concerts or even festivals, where you will be supporting other bands or be playing along with some other Yperano bands. We will also try to record those gigs on video so that we can have a visual reference on your band and be able to promote you to the media and the public. We will give big emphasis on distributing our records properly, so that people are going to be able to buy them with a minimum effort.

We can guarantee that we will be treating you with respect in all cases. (Of course we are expecting the same back from you). Above all, YPERANO aims to treat both bands / artists, and the fans that are going to be buying the records, with honesty and offer the best service, combined with very good value for money. We will take great care and time and dedicate all possible resources to make a name for us.
