This Cd is one from a Band that fit the total 80's hair metal scene. From the hit video single "Rebel" this is the perfect cd for those longing to relive that 8o's feel of BIG HAIR, RIPPED JEANS, and Screaming Guitars!!! One of the best bands from that time in music that most don't know about.

Like House of Lords, Silent Rage was a better than average melodic rock band that KISS mastermind Gene Simmons took under his wing for his Simmons Records subsidiary of RCA. And like House of Lords, Simmons micromanaged the hell out of the band, forcing a name change (that failed), a cover song (ELO's "Can't Get Her Out of My Head") and the choice of producer (Paul Sabu). For the most part, these changes were for the better. Simmons is a pretty savvy operator after all. I'll stick with the House of Lords comparison because Silent Rage's sound is actually pretty close to the HoL style of polished, keyboard-driven melodic rock. There are some really memorable songs on this album, but the best has to be the hook-heavy title track, which reminds me a LOT of Hurricane's "I'm On To You".
I'd go so far as to call Don't Touch Me There a must-have melodic rock album. If you like bands like House of Lords/Giuffria, Giant, King Kobra and Hurricane, you'll definitely want to check out what Silent Rage was all about.

5.0 out of 5 stars Overlooked Great Rock N Roll, This cd Rocks all the way from the begining to the end. I got to say i grew up listening to all the 80's & 90's rock but somehow i missed this band. If you like Whitesnake I Promise you'll love this band.I discovered the band on youtube.com while listening to other bands & now im hooked. I want stop till i have em all!
