Less Than Human hail from Kalamaria, a (superb) suburb in Thessaloniki (Salonica), the second biggest city in Hellas (Greece), that is located in Makedonia the northern part of the country.
Their style can be roughly described as Metal-core (as always peoples opinions defer). Most people feel that they are a Metal band, but they also appeal to the Hardcore crowds. The one sure thing though, is that everyone agrees that the L.T.H music is extremely aggressive, energetic and straightforward, with good musicianship. Above all they write great, catchy songs, that come straight from the heart. They also have the added advance of having a really great singer and very good lyrics that complement the songs.
A new demo / promo only recording, came out a few months later. Metal Hammer gave them a rave review once again (9/10) and not surprisingly they've remained in the Metal Hammer chart list for many months, since Hammer thought that their demo was the best incoming recording for the month that it was reviewed (April'98 issue 159).
By that time the label manager of the newly formed London based record and publishing company, Yperano Records, was already alert about the prospects of signing the band. After viewing a satellite transmission of the band performing live for the Hellenic (Greek) national TV channel E.T 3, he knew that a record contract had to be offered to the band. Few months down the line, the contract was indeed signed and preparations for the recording of their first album got immediately under way.
L.T.H are looking to tour Europe in the beginning of 2001. We will let you know more by the time that the tour is cofirmed.
The band was formed in 1996. Their first demo tape was released in the end of that year, received a review in the issue 147 of Metal Hammer magazine and remained in the Metal Hammer chart list for five months. In December they've also performed their first ever show, in front of 500 fans that went absolutely bezerk! (The singer / bass player felt obliged by the crowd's reaction and being the ultra professional that he is, he did not forget to put his bass aside before landing into the arms of the adoring crowd, thus avoiding to hurt members of the crowd, or his beloved instrument - I mean his bass of course).

John Cuniberti the Los Angeles based producer, who is famous for his work with the extraordinary guitarist Joe Satriani. (five of the Satriani albums that he has produced have being nominated for Grammy awards!), has been entirely responsible for this recording. The one sure thing, is that now that the album is available, your necks will suffer from the effects of some ferocious headbanging.
