Loud were great, why they never got the success they deserved is way beyond me! hard rock band with alternative rock, gothic rock and heavy metal influences, formed in Leeds, England in 1989.
The band was founded by guitarist Chris McLaughlin, following his stint in New Model Army. Former Excalibur bassist Martin Hawthorn, second guitarist Colin Clarkson and drummer Ricky Howard (formerly of Happiness AD) completed the line-up.

This is an outstanding band and LP. Great personal style. They can surely rock, in their own way, but they have also excellent melodies and Lyrics. Try them out. This is one of the top 10 albums of ALL the vinyls and CDs on offer in the Yperano mail order list

The group's debut album, released in 1990 on China Records, was called D-Generation. It was co-produced by J. Martin Rex and Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke. Kerrang! magazine voted it one of their twenty best albums of 1990.

the little angels became big angels on this one...a mature rock album that i still like despite a lack of heavyness...but this disc is one of the best things that came from england in the nineties...

This album defined my childhood, excellent poppy-rock. A brilliant collection of songs and the reason I play guitar! Well worth the price, even now I occasionally stick this album on and take myself back to the days when the music rocked and we got shitfaced and fingered birds, BRILLIANT!

This album and 'Young Gods' are the two best albums released by 'The Angels'.

Excellent late 80's Thrash Metal,
Acid reign mix their unique thrash/ punk style to create a whole new genre, theres no other band like acid reign. The band has such a tight sound at this point that i do belive this could be one of the greatest thrash 10's of all time. Nothing can beat this album for intensity and variety. A whirlwind of head-snapping riffing of full intensity - thrash songs that combine catchy hooks with killer riffs, and even the odd doomy moment (guitarist Gaz would leave after this album to form Cathedral). You may well find that this is long-out of print and costs a bomb to get hold of, but if you love thrash metal you NEED this.

Seconds Out is a live double album by Genesis, released in October 1977. It reached #4 in the UK, remaining in the charts for 17 weeks. The performances were recorded in Paris in 1976 and 1977 on their tours in support of A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering. At the end of several songs the crowd can be heard encouraging the band to play another song by chanting "Une autre!" which literally means "another one". This is the final tour to feature long-time guitarist Steve Hackett.

About Black Market Flowers
Guitarist Matt Neth and Bassist Bryan Ray started playing together right out of high school as Black Market Flowers (name given to them by a schoolmate). After going through numerous incarnations of band members and name changes in their hometown San Francisco, they settled in Los Angeles and shortly thereafter finalized the line up. By far most important of their releases is this 10" vinyl version of Thicket that was released via Boy's Life Records with switched up sequence of tracks, 2 additional songs and different album art. Additional tracks included on the 10" vinyl was PTWTWABS + Do it clean.

I would highly reccomend this 10" to anyone who is a fan of the genre. Few albums I have bought in recent years have been as consistantly good as this one. Nebula are the stars of tomorrow!

Music and lyrics:
The title, as well as lyrical references, are taken from the film Blade Runner. The moaning in the intro to the song was sampled from a post-apocalyptic porn movie called Café Flesh directed by Stephen Sayadian.

Poor Girlschool drummer Denise Dufort has been busy behind the drums when Lemmy and Fast Eddie, who sings on "Emergency" raise the tempo! Motörhead drummer "Philty Animal" was drunk (cracked his neck) and could not play drums on this single. So if you look really closely at the cover artwork, you'll see that he has headrests!

The Dogs D'Amour are a rock band formed during 1983 in London, England. Over the years the band has had various line-ups, the longest serving band member being vocalist Tyla, followed by original drummer Bam. The band found a measure of success in the United Kingdom during the latter part of the 1980s and the early 1990s.
In 1991, the band broke up on stage.
They were such a contrast to bands with a similar look. They are what the Stones would've sounded like had they been "born" in the late eighties. There are haunting and beautiful rockers on this album. If you like the Stones from '68 to '74 but with an edgier sound, sort of raw...you'll love this album.

Blaggers ITA (formerly The Blaggers) are an Oi!/punk and agitpop band founded in 1988 in England. They are noted for their strong anti-fascist and left wing lyrics and activism. They had a couple of top 60 singles in 1993 followed by a top 50 single in 1994. Although the band started out as an anti-racist skinhead band playing hard-edged Oi! music, they eventually incorporated influences from hip hop and electronic dance music, adding the letters ITA to their name, which stood for "In The Area".
The band had close links with Anti Fascist Action (AFA), donating money to the organisation and promoting its ideology. The band's support for revolutionary politics and AFA, along with their earlier association with the Oi! scene, meant that in the early 1990s they became a target of neo-Nazi groups such as Combat 18.

Smart, witty, melodic, and energetic, Love Kit is a band whose music not only recalls the glory days of power pop, but shows a few new directions in which the style can be taken.
The band was formed in 1996 by guitarists, singers, and songwriters Eddie Jemison and Rich Sparks, who formerly worked together in the group Silver Drag.
Joining Jemison and Sparks were bassist Ellen Phillips, who played with hard rockers Rustbucket, and drummer Tim Ford, a veteran of the Midwest punk scene.
The group released their first album, 10 Milligram Day, in 1997 with a follow-up, Who's Afraid of the Radio Tower?, in 1999.
In their native Chicago, the band has shared bills with the likes of Susanna Hoffs, Corey Glover, and the Chamber Strings and they also mounted a well-received tour of the United Kingdom.
After the release of a third album AND this split 12" with the Dutch band Spot in 2000, The September Heads, Phillips and Ford left the group to pursue new musical directions.

After buying it, I listened to the tape until it snapped. Then I taped it back together and kept on going. “Let’s Go Dancing” and “Look What You’ve Done to Your Brother” were my absolute favorites. About 4 years ago that tape was lost, and I have yet to replace it due to hard times and a tight budget. I still remember falling asleep to this album. My many thanks for fond memories.
