THE ULTIMATE AOR RECORD!!!! This is the 'Thriller' or 'Like a Virgin' of 80's AOR, totally heavy and yet still very melodic. This is the soundtrack to the lives of every long haired, leather jacket wearing bad boy teenage rebel in the 80's. And yes, 'promises' is truly an 80's teen anthem with a great story...

I totally agree with the above mentioned comments.This is definetely one of the best melodic rock records ever. Just listen to tracks like Can't say no or Breakin all the rules and you know what I mean. Too bad that this band never made it big cause they really deserved it. What a killer record!!!!!!

Tracks 3,4,5,6 and 7 are all total killer heavy melodic rock. Great album

Underrated band. Great, melodic songs. 3 of the guys from this band formed Tattoo Rodeo, which sounded nothing like White Sister. Both bands are great though.

Journey meets Angel. Gregg Guiffria has given this album a fairly tight and compressed mix, especially the rhythm section, which gives the guitars and keyboards ample space to breathe. White Sister, is possibly, THE best band to have come around in the past 40 yrs. hehehehe I mean the music is just beautifuly done. Classic 80's slasher film soundtrack music, THE best music there is. Dennis Churchill's voice is AWESOME, as is everybody's, when they harmonize, their voices blend perfectly.

One of the best aor albums songwise, the guitar sound is great on this album. It gives these songs a pretty raw feeling. 10/10
