SUPER ROACH: Stoner's Broadcast station CD ---> super STONER!

Super Roach is another cool band from Germany. The riffs are cool, the album can definitely be called stoner rock, while still maintaining a steady rock and roll vibe. The psychedelic guitar on “Medicine”, combined with great bass makes for one good tune! “Nascent Empire” lays it on
pretty heavy as well. This song gets all mellow and sweet swings into up-tempo doom/stoner rock. Again great riff and beats on this song. The vocals are dirty sounding – deep, smooth.. The choruses and time changes in the songs are really well done. “Mystery Machine” is another good song with some fast as hell riffs. “Astroscoop” is to me the best album on this disk, with “Medicine” a close second. Astroscoop has this really cool way of pulling you into the song and letting you float about in the guitar’s 60’s psychedelic sound before the song gets heavier. The vocals are definitely straight out of the 70’s and I can’t say enough about the guitar in Astroscoop. This is just great!!! Super Roach lays down the vibes very well
