Salty Dog - Every Dog Has Its Day (1990)
Salty Dog was a hard-rock band formed in late 1986 in Los Angeles by Jimmi Bleacher, Scott Lane, Michael Hannon and Khurt Maier. The band released its first and only major-label record in 1990, titled "Every Dog Has Its Day," composed of all original songs except for a cover of Willie Dixon's Spoonful. Guitarist Pete Reveen is the son of the magician Reveen the Impossibilist. The band, like many other hard-rock/metal bands in the early 1990s, were lost in the shuffle when the grunge-rock movement hit in late 1991 and swept the nation in 1992.

Salty Dog kicked ass. They should have been bigger for a little while at least. They had their own sound I thought. Better then the other bands from that era!
A timing issue for sure.

Jimmi Bleacher - vocals, guitar, harmonica
Pete Reveen - guitar, vocals
Michael Hannon - bass, vocals
Khurt Maier - drums

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool,
This is one of the greatest ever and one of the best albums from sleaze rock. If you like any kind of rock don't miss it.

"Ring My Bell" from Salty Dog is Soooo Seductive and Soooo Sinfully Sleazy! One of my favorite bands and songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars woof!! Dog pound rock.,
This is one fine rock album and it blows me away every time I play it , these boys are what The Answer do, why it isnt in the rock hall of fame is a crying shame..the dog grabs you by the scruff shakes you and chucks you into the dog house a brilliant rock album,I first got the album from a bargain Bin just could`nt believe my luck. had heard about it but that was all. the band who I have never heard of before or since are,Jimmi Bleacher vocals,Pete Reveen guitar, Michael Hannon bass, and the John Bonham drummer supreme Khurt Maier . I dare you take the plunge and obtain a copy, you will not be dissapointed it might even change your life for the better!!
