Misplaced Ideals saw the band mixing styles again: light reggae, Hall & Oates-type soul (no surprise therefore that I once met the band's rhythm guitarist Ian Wilson at a H&O concert in Manchester), plus some outright rock. Though the last track on MI, On With The Show was a great live opener for Sad Cafe. There are some real gems in this album with Mario and Feel Like Dying being my favourites. How Black Rose was never a hit is indeed a mystery!! This is indeed a wonderful album!! There are again loads of different styles of song, combining to make this a great album. All in all if you like top notch guitar rock music, with injections of total class, you'll probably never spend a better £3!!!!!
