RED DOGS: Working Late CD. RARE. A la Dogs D'amour, Quireboys, AC/DC. Check videos.

classic British boozey rock 'n' roll, a perfect band for anyone into the Dogs D'amour or Quireboys styles. One of the best British bands of the era. Ripley's vocals are fantastic (he came along way in 2 years - halfway between Ron Young of Little Caesar and Spike on this one) and EVERY song is killer, my pick being Baby's So Fine. An outstanding release, shame they never did anything else. 9.5/10

Rough and raw debut EP, this is still classic British boozey rock 'n' roll, a perfect band for anyone into the Dogs D'amour or Quireboys styles. One of the best British bands of the era. Incredible. Yes, it's a bit less raw than the debut, but that's no bad thing. Ripley's vocals are fantastic (he came along way in 2 years - halfway between Ron Young and Spike on this one) and EVERY song is killer especially the unreleased and exclusive to this release "When the lights go Down" and "Wrong side of town"

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for any rock fan,
I'm assuming not many will read this but for those of you who like straight forward rock this has to be added to your collection, possibly the most underrated band ever, each one of the tracks on this has an AC/DCish way of being very catchy, every song is different and every instrument played really well, vocals sound excellent and the rhythm section is also superb, I bought this based on one song, the title track but every song is awesome in it's own way. Look out for the cover of Smokey Robinson's mowtown hit 'Get Ready'. I would recommmend it to anybody, if you rad this, I do urge you to get this as you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brings back memories of Raw Power and The Power Hour,
Does anybody remember Raw Power aka The Power Hour? It was an 80s metal show that was on about 4am on a saturday morning. The Red Dogs used to feature on that but I had never heard of them since.

After spending two years trying to source their work, I eventually found them, worth the wait: oh yes!!!

Classic rock, AC DC combined with a bit of Poison and a hint of Warrant thrown in for good measure. Pays to be Pretty and Working Late are great, but the clear winner for me is Sweet Little Ruby (which was realised as a single LP if you are lucky enough to find it).

An absolute gem, shame that these guys were not more popular. Not easy to find, but should have a place in any rock fans collection.
