This Italian band was founded in 1994 with the intention to start playing technical death metal in the Death, Carcass and At The Gates style. They released their first MCD in 1996 followed by a first full length in 1998. They released another MCD in 2000 and they scored a record deal with Scarlet Records. The musical skills of these guys are very impressive. If you are into extreme technical music then this CD is a must have. Although they operate constantly in a heavy overpowering mode they do incorporate in their music elements of thrash, progressive and melodic metal. Drummer Mario Giannini is a great musician. His inventing drum patrons give the music an intense drive. Vocalist / guitarist Daniel Botti has a rough voice but his vocal lines are at the same time melodic. Although Node is an extreme band they manage to keep their music accessible. Arch Enemy, In Flames watch out!
