kind of a mix between a comedy album and a greatest hits collection of some funny and some introspective songs...not unlike the show itself, not surprisingly. But some parts are so funny! Statler and Waldorf's heckling between tracks is hilarious! Fozzie Bear's monologue with a barely-willing assistant Kermit the Frog degenerates into flaring tempers and is a riot. Some of the songs are just good in their own right, like the absolute classic "Mahna Mahna", but also "Mr. Bassman", "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" and Dr. Teeth's "sensitive" rendition of "Tenderly".
