"Men Of War" is a Manowar cover band and was founded in 2000 by Mayer Columbus. Now they released their first demo CD "Hail To Bännjerländ" where I just did not really believe that a cover band approach comes as close to the original, such as "Men Of War" did it.

So to me this demo CD and the band really like. I never thought that the singer approached as closely to the voice of Eric Adams. They are almost identical, but I have found that Eric Adams, the higher notes a little bit better controlled, which is hot but not that Patrick Adams can not sing - on the contrary. Absolutely great!

The band's sound is also quite close to the original, with me personally here, "Warriors Of The World United" not so much. It lacks a little power ...
I have put this CD into my player, I've only heard them aware (fixed on the comparison with Manowar) and then let them just keep running in the background. After a while I had to really think about what I was actually put in my CD player: Men Of War Manowar or ...
Now one can only hope that the live performances of "Men Of War" accumulate, so that every Manowar fan or metal fan to listen to this band can. I'll look anyway that I can attend a live performance ...
