LOW VIBES: Psychic Travel CD ...Killer Stoner / Doom ... Check sample

http://lowvibes.free.fr/stuff/lowvibes_startover.mp3 I can't say enough about this band. Their strength lies in imagination. They aren't bound in by the world of riffs or traditional song structures. Their music ebbs and flows, one time dreamlike, next swirling pools of volume and reverb...akin to a surf band from the netherworld. This is the kind of stuff that transports you to another planet for the length of this 28 minute CD. This is some seriously heavy, groovy, psychedelic stuff. "Soul Salvation is almost seven minutes of mind bending acid rock and "Connection" rocks with the groove of Nebula and the heaviness of Space Patrol, a mixture that is both potent and rockin'. "Shine" slows it down a bit, almost in a Sabotage era Black Sabbath way. "Traveller Song" carries a heavy melody that blends guitar and bass into a constant string of down-tuned riffing, the sort of thing Kyuss used to do. This sounds completely different, however, and I'm honestly having trouble thinking of a comparison. All I know is that it's heavy and trippy as hell, the kind of song that can make you float right of the room if you don't hold on to something. And this goes on for more than seven freaky minutes while you try to figure out what exactly about the song is grabbing you by the balls so hard. It's just an insane track. A live version of "Changes" is thrown on as a "bonus track"
a three-piece band based in Paris, FRANCE, a Psychedelic Groove Rock Band, they said... Groove, Wah & Fuzz, all in one package...
