Their debut record was being very well received, especially in Europe, but the band couldn’t get any support from the record company. That’s why Mark and Al decided to be released from the deal and immediately got the interest of Music For Nations who signed the band and brought over DSS to England to tour in support of the band FM. Playing live, brought Mark and Al to write songs that were more aggressive and would work in that environment (for instance „Drivin‘ Wheel“, „Pedal to the Metal“, „Veil Of Tears“, etc. They also played „Can’t Get Enough“ (by Bad Company) which went over very well as a last encore and which ended up on the second record. Coming back to the States D,SS immediately began working on „Drivin‘ Wheel“ the second CD. The band toured extensively in support of FM (once again in UK) and UFO (in Germany).

mark mangold, the big musician behind the band touch. superb AOR in foreigners style, to pop rock, heavy rock. singer/guitarist Al Fritsch, the best newcomers of the past years. with his cross between Joe Lynn turner and Lou Gramm. excellent song material written by mark mangold. colourful, fresh keyboard n sharp guitar parts, heavy drums very tasty n beautiful. this great album is right choice for every AOR listener

Great album!! There are some very nice AOR tracks here. ‘Think of love’ is a great AOR opener and an album highlight, and ‘Hard to hold’ is almost as good, and ‘Veil of tears’ is also a very fine piece of AOR. I’m sure AOR fans will enjoy.

Their follow up to their very acclaimed debut album…5 out of the 10 tracks in here are among their best stuff ever recorded (“Think Of Love”,”Drivin’ Wheel”, “Hard To Hold”, “Its Gonna Take A Miracle” & “Just For The Moment”)apart from that another goodie ones such as “Can’t Get Enough” which the band made a killer cover of the Bad Company’s anthem, “Veil Of Tears” & “Do You Believe”(this one is a monster track IMHO)..anyway Mark Mangold & Al Fritsch delivering once again those amazing melodies…what a pair undoubtedly!!!…excellent stuff, Get it!.95/100
