Dim Mak is born from the ashes of the deathsters Ripping Corpse. The following of "Enter the Dragon", their '99 debut album, has been produced by Erik Rutan, ex-member too of Ripping Corpse and better known as guitarist of the teachers Morbid Angel and even leader of Hate Eternal. The death metal performed by Dim Mak is clearly inspired by the Tampa school and it's characterized by a complicated songwriting, where a true musical ability of the four pieces - never common and with a sense: the opposite of many Swedish acts - is completely devoted to brutality, aggression and speed. "Intercepting Fist" is am angry tornado: fat solos land over throat vocals and on an hyper-technical, modern and apocalyptical drumming. A good release for the American death lovers who will appreciate it for sure!
