DESTROPHY: S/T [This great band from the United States, combines the melodies and sounds of electronica with the guitar riffs, beats and power of metal, forging a new sound that defies traditional musical boundaries. Formed in 1993, by founding member Ari Mihalopoulos (vocals, guitars), Destrophy took the “Do It Yourself” ethic to a new level, building their own digital studio and recording and producing two heavily circulated Compact Discs. They became known for their eclectic blend of tight rhythms and melody. This is a 17 song album. Strangely enough the band’s website mentions that “The band was officially launched in 2002 by producer and singer/songwriter Ari” however this is a CD that Ari produced back in 1997!!!!
