DESECRATION: Pathway to Deviance CD [Death Metal, Grind, Grind Core] ...Check samples!

Desecration have run into some press problems at home in the past, as well as the banning of their first album, 1995's "Gore And Perversion". Tons of blast beats and double bass runs, guttural vocals, twin guitar savagery and a great attack on the bass. The production on this 10-song CD is well above average, boosting the natural threat of the songs with crystal divergence. Quite a few bands come to mind, which is to be expected after 4 albums in 7 years: a little Deicide here, some Suffocation there, maybe a bit of Polish death. Desecration manage to keep the purity of death metal resplendent with innovative tracks like "Swollen" and the steamrolling "They Bled". These Welshmen use some well-picked samples to their advantage and have got a bloody good death metal album here.
