Chainsnap is a 5 piece dark metal-core band hailing from central Wisconsin. They are trying to keep the old style thrash metal alive but mixing in some new style metal to give our sound a little variety and originality 3 song promo CD released Spring 2003 and full length CD "Hollow" released January 2004. Chainsnap has also been included in many compilations.

Love the Punk sound of the first track, mixed in with the heavy guitars and vocals, the mix of the whole cd is 100% better than the last one. each song has it's own unique sound/style. it seems as if each song could have been written by a different band not like a lot of cd's today that seem like the same thing with different lyrics. punchy guitars, huge drum sound, love the singing /screaming and then singing again from the vocals, great bass lines. positive outlook for the indi bands out there. a must have!!!
