"Erasure had seen Björn Again perform which inspired their successful Abba-esque EP in turn inspiring Björn Again's release - “Erasure-ish” which included the single “A Little Respect” and "Stop" reaching a respectable No. 25 in the UK charts with the highlight being a performance on the legendary program BBC’s Top of the Pops.
"What a shame this project wasn't given the time and effort that it deserved. The ailing M&G record company certainly did show "a little respect" with their lack of foresight and low production values which was mostly the problem .. It could have been brilliant - instead it was just...OK"

When Erasure produced an EP of ABBA covers called Abba-esque, Björn Again responded with an EP of covers of Erasure songs done in the style of ABBA, called Erasure-ish. The EP included the songs 'Stop!' and 'A Little Respect' that achieved Number 25 on the UK charts in September 1992.
