MARILLION: Hooks in you [tape] Check video!
Seasons End was the first album recorded by Marillion after the split with Fish in late 1988. The band started to audition singers while writing the new album, and they eventually chose Steve Hogarth, former keyboard player and singer in The Europeans (released two albums).
Seasons End was mostly finished by the time Hogarth joined Marillion, and only a couple of songs on it actually have some pieces written by him, most notably Easter and The Space. The first single to be released was Hooks in You in August 1989
MARILLION: Holidays in Eden [tape] Check video!
Holidays in Eden is the sixth studio album by the British band Marillion, released in 1991. It is their second with vocalist Steve Hogarth and has been regarded by many fans as a setback from their previous albums due to its mainstream-oriented sound and song writing. It was recorded after the Seasons End tour which had lasted almost a year. Despite the band's obvious efforts to create a recording more appealing to mainstream media, thus attracting new fans, Holidays In Eden could not compete regarding sales or chart positions with the band's first four studio albums from the 1980s.
"Dry Land" was previously recorded by h's earlier band How We Live.

ASIA: Aqua [tape] Check video!
Aqua is a musical masterpiece and placed ASIA back to the top of their game in the early 90's. "Who will stop the Rain" and many other tracks on the album are quite simply superb. Payne and Downes are an awesome combo and album after album have proved to be the best at what they do - writing great meaningful, sweeping, and powerful music. Buy the rest of their albums since (especially 'Aura') and you won't be disappointed. Aqua is a must have album. This was the first studio album with John Payne. He had started working with Geoffrey Downes in 1988 on session work.
The albums open with an acoustic guitar solo from Steve Howe. Carl Palmer also returns for a while, making it another 3/4 of the original lineup. John Payne makes Asia his own, reinventing it for the '90s. To boot, "Aqua" didn't even chart here (though it went to #1 in Japan), with grunge changing the rules. Asia prevailed to a loyal following since with Payne & Co.
ANDERSON BROFORD WAKEMAN HOWE Brother Of Mine [tape] Members of Yes! Comes in a cigarette like package... Check video!
Gathering of all the great Progressive musicians. Members of Yes, etc. Comes in a cigarette like package...
When this album was first released in 1989 one newspaper pundit termed it as one "whose sublimed redundancy makes the work of the Wombles appear profound in comparison".Well I have nothing against Mike Batt and his furry pals but this album sure knocks spots off Orinocco and co.
