KILLING JOKE: Night time LP Check videos!
Killing Joke have influenced many later bands, such as Nirvana, Ministry, Amen, Lamb of God, Nine Inch Nails, Porcupine Tree, Napalm Death, Amebix, Big Black, Opeth, Godflesh, Tool, Prong, Metallica, Primus, Jane's Addiction, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Faith No More,The Banner, Blacklist, Shihad, Pitchshifter, Das Oath, Rammstein and Korn, all of whom have at some point cited some debt of gratitude to Killing Joke
Killing Joke continued to move from strength to strength with the visceral NIGHT TIME. The band's edges still displayed something of the brittle surface of earlier records, but its playing had become more polished, Jaz Coleman's vocals more intelligible and wrought with bitter irony and the charged energy of its signature sound was now being produced with a more sophisticated hand.

Killing Joke is the debut studio album of the London post-punk band Killing Joke. Released in August, 1980 worldwide under E'G Records, Killing Joke was self-produced and was considered an underground album. The album was recorded in early 1980, shortly after a small tour promoting the Almost Red EP. The lyrics of the album were written by front man and vocalist Jaz Coleman, which expressed his opinions on issues such as politics, death, hypocrisy, human nature, pollution, and exile.
The album has been considered by many bands as an influential and inspirational database. Several bands like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Tool, Soundgarden, and Metallica have all credited Killing Joke for a lot of their own material.

Their music can’t be easily labeled, because of it's gothic and nocturnal atmospheres, metal riffs and instrumental breaks, sometimes ethereal, sometimes progressive. Each of band member comes from different experiences and they met with the intention to create a kind of music which could follow what they feel.
MOONGARDEN: Round Midnight CD beautiful Italian neo-prog band. CAMEL, GENESIS, PINK FLOYD. Check video!!
MOONGARDEN is an extremely beautiful Italian neo-prog band. Thet employ a wide variety of prog approaches. The music includes full symphonic prog, vocal oriented prog and even some very good improvisation. There is some nice flute and acoustic guitar as well. Overall I’d say they stylistically could be compared to CAMEL, LANDMARQ, GENESIS and PINK FLOYD but they sound like neither of these bands. For neo-progressive fans, MOONGARDEN is a band that should not be missed.
The most complex and mature work produced by the band. If you (like me) love melodic, symphonic music with lots of beauty you will have to get this one. It's a must.

NANGYALA: Spheres CD Very melodic + Progressive Rock-Metal from Holland. For fans of PINK FLOYD, PORCUPINE TREE, MARILLION
NANGYALA: Spheres [Very melodic and slightly Progressive Rock -Metal from Holland. Good vocalist from Greece. The music has a large Hammond organ presence and is thoroughly melodic with both up-tempo and more laidback parts. The main reference is Pink Floyd and bands derived from that band, but the main focus with Nangyala is on songs instead of atmosphere.

Malmas was formed as a reaction to the monotonous, uncreative and unchalenging music that has been created in the UK for some time. First album "Dreamlands" was released in April 2001, to very positive reviews. Starting in a fairly straightforward fashion, the further into the album you go, the more progressive and grandiose the sound becomes, culminating in th epic 22 minute "Realms of Time". The Follow-up "Moments of Reason" was released in July 2002. This time the sound was more sophisticated, with a clearer idea of structure and melody. Allowing the (much improved) vocals to shine through, rather than relying on the guitar to take the lead
