MYTHOLOGIC is really the addition of ANDEAVOR’s guitarist Steve Matusik to the LEGER DE MAIN trio, namely bassist/guitarist Chris Roddler with his brother/drummer Brett Rodler and singer/lyricist Melissa Rodler (formerly Melissa Blair). This reunion creates a cocktail that combines the fierce intensity of LEGER DE MAIN with the theatrical bombast of ANDEAVOR. If you’re not familiar with these formations, try to imagine the complexity of FATES WARNING combined with Alex Lifeson’s guitar play during the early days or RUSH. In short, the music of MYTHOLOGIC is characterized by its complexity and a hectic pace that hardly ever lets off.
