HALFWAY TO GONE: Halfway to Gone (s.t) CD (2004). Great Deep Purple cover. Check all samples.
Halfway to Gone is an American rock band from New Jersey. The band formed in 1999 when bassist and founding member of Solarized, Lou Gorra got together with Lee Stuart (Solarized's touring guitarist), and drummer Danny Gollin. Chuck Dukehart from Sixty Watt Shaman played drums in the band for a year before being replaced by Kenny Wagner, also of Sixty Watt Shaman & Honky, who toured with them and played on "Second Season". The band did U.S. tours & played shows with Clutch, Nashville Pussy, Nebula, CKY, Suplecs, and many others. The band's style has been described as a mixture of Stoner rock, Southern rock and Heavy metal, inspired by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Black Sabbath, among others. They released an album with Alabama Thunderpussy in 2000 and their own debut early the next year. They have released two more albums since. They went on extended hiatus in 2004 but are rumored to be doing another album in 2011 with original line up of Stu, Danny, & Lou on Smallstone Records.

The BLACK LEAGUE: Man’s Ruin Revisited CD [dirty rock-n-roll! Hellacopters, AC/DC. Ex-Sentenced vocalist. Check samples!!
The BLACK LEAGUE: Man’s Ruin Revisited
featuring ex-Sentenced vocalist Taneli Jarva. Man’s Ruin is the central concepts in Classic American Old School Tattoo Art the unholy trinity of Drink, Gambling and Wild Women. The Black League is now a dirty rock-n-roll band. Musically, the band definitely has the chops to pull it off, and Jarva’s voice doesn’t sound nearly as out of place as you might expect. In fact, he can rock out with the best of them. The band at times sounds like different combinations of the Hellacopters, newer Corrosion of Conformity, Clutch and AC/DC, without ever sounding too much like any of them
David Neil CLINE: Thorough Scrutiny CD CHECK 14 AUDIO SAMPLES. A cross between Heavy Metal and Hard Rock
magine Iron Maiden and Deep Purple doing an album together. Or Yngwie Malmsteen joining Metallica... Or Gene Simmons of Kiss with Black Sabbath... If you are into
Dio, Michael Schenker, Uli Jon Roth, The Scorpions, Soundgarden, David Chastain, Savatage,Clutch, Corrosion of Conformity, Old Rush, Nazareth, Steve Vai, Fates Warning, Montrose so is David Neil Cline and these influences shine through "Thorough Scrutiny" which is already his third self-financed release. "Thorough Scrutiny" doesn't have only 12 killer songs but convinces the listener with a totally untrendy and self-confidential. It's almost never that you hear a record with this much depth into rock and roll/metal. This album goes places that newer CD's don't. This guy is a great guitar player too. The guitar work is amazing- touching into hints of doom lead riffs and dual overdubbed guitar harmonies...very tastefully done. One
thing about Cline is his ability to achieve that bigger than life, timeless production that has far less of a technical sound, but one that breathes effortlessly.

Finally, there is an album that I can apply the tag “roots rock” to without cringing. Excellent songs, performances, solos, this shit kicks ass and is just so solid in every way. Buy it yesterday.
"...The living embodiment of dirty, thirsty, blues-injected boogiecrunch." - HIGH BIAS
"Spawned from the same trailer park that brought us The Hellacopters, Alabama Thunderpussy and touring-mate Johnny Winter, Five Horse Johnson play inbred, ugly mammoth rock `n' roll slugged out with hairy fists and sore throats...funny and entertaining balls-to-the-walls rock." - INK 19
"Eschewing the obvious stoner influences of Sabbath, Vitus and Kyuss, Five Horse Johnson instead seem to hark back to the bluesier likes of Mountain and The Groundhogs...offers a glimpse of what Zeppelin's fourth album might have sounded like augmented by Mick Jagger in full faux-bluesman mode." - ROCKSOUND
