The name Todesfaust says a lot about the Eastern band. Of course, you have dedicated to the Death Metal. The title "frag grenades duration bombing" can also serve as a description of the music, because there is nowhere any Swedish melodic death metal to listen to the CD. No, what has to offer Todesfaust is absolutely brutal Death Metal with some Grind passages.

SURGICAL DISSECTION: The Inborn Malignance [With a name like Surgical Dissection, you pretty much know what you are in for: brutal death metal ala early Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy and very much in the Suffocation vein. The Inborn Malignance cd is quite appealing with its gutwrenching approach and overall chaotic sound. The vocals are deep and muffled, broken up by the occasional piercing shriek. Picture if former Kataklysm vocalist, Sylvian Houde, didn't employ such a shizophrenic vocal delivery. The riffing is relentless, the songs are short and intense. It is the drive behind this music that makes it so damn likeable. What is the surefire way for a band treading familiar musical paths to still sound vital and refreshing? Enthusiasm!

Great Sf thrash band. The Eyes of Horror was one of the best Possessed records I think. The songwriting and lyrics are amazing. Jeff Becerra has one of the best voices in Death Metal besides Tom G. Warrior. Highly recommended.

if only all death metal could be like this! This band does kill. In the tradition of old-school death, mixed with the thicker aspects of IMMOLATION or INCANTATION, with some slam riffs here and there, CARNIVEAN f**king delivers. Hard brutal death metal band. However, the songs are all catchy, every single last one of them, and they're all well-played and well-sung. This disc rips from one end to the other, go get this thing!

The band's logo has changed, but the German death/grind combo's influences remain the same as ever. Impact - wonder why no one thought of this title before - is a brutal slab of molten Monstrosity, Cannibal Corpse and Dying Fetus - in that order. The vocalist growls his guts out and the band does its best to horrify. Of particular note is the bassist who rattles more dominantly than the norm.

MY SELF AM HELL: s/t [The music on this cd is really good and can best described as melodic death metal with evil lyrics. The songs are extremely catchy and have a slight thrash feel to them. The music is fairly technical with some pretty cool guitar solo's and fast beating drums and the vocals kinda remind me of Chris Barnes of Cannibal Corpse.
