MOONGARDEN is an extremely beautiful Italian neo-prog band. Thet employ a wide variety of prog approaches. The music includes full symphonic prog, vocal oriented prog and even some very good improvisation. There is some nice flute and acoustic guitar as well. Overall I’d say they stylistically could be compared to CAMEL, LANDMARQ, GENESIS and PINK FLOYD but they sound like neither of these bands. For neo-progressive fans, MOONGARDEN is a band that should not be missed.
The most complex and mature work produced by the band. If you (like me) love melodic, symphonic music with lots of beauty you will have to get this one. It's a must.

NANGYALA: Spheres [Very melodic and slightly Progressive Rock -Metal from Holland. Good vocalist from Greece. The music has a large Hammond organ presence and is thoroughly melodic with both up-tempo and more laidback parts. The main reference is Pink Floyd and bands derived from that band, but the main focus with Nangyala is on songs instead of atmosphere.

Once the 12 minute opener "21st Century Space Blues" gets going, there's little doubt about the
premier quality music on offer here. Dice basically deal in a traditional progressive sound with nods to the likes of Camel, Pendragon and solo Roger Waters, but there's also a political heart beating inside this prog beast (which I'm sure Roger would approve of). The lyricism helps make the likes of "SOS Planet Earth Cries" all the more addictive. And despite the prevalence of guitars (and some tasty solos), it's the little keyboard touches that make you pause and listen all the more carefully, be it the boogie woogie piano fill on "21st Century..." or the Hammond sound on top tune "Things Are Getting Better". A must have for died in the wool progsters, and an eye opener for the unbelieving infidels.
