Autopsy
SURGICAL DISSECTION: The Inborn Malignance CD. Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy, Suffocation HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
SURGICAL DISSECTION: The Inborn Malignance [With a name like Surgical Dissection, you pretty much know what you are in for: brutal death metal ala early Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy and very much in the Suffocation vein. The Inborn Malignance cd is quite appealing with its gutwrenching approach and overall chaotic sound. The vocals are deep and muffled, broken up by the occasional piercing shriek. Picture if former Kataklysm vocalist, Sylvian Houde, didn't employ such a shizophrenic vocal delivery. The riffing is relentless, the songs are short and intense. It is the drive behind this music that makes it so damn likeable. What is the surefire way for a band treading familiar musical paths to still sound vital and refreshing? Enthusiasm!

ABSCESS: Through The cracks of Death CD Death´s "Scream Bloody Gore" - Autopsy. Check samples!!
ABSCESS: Through The cracks of Death [Chris Reifert and company are back!! This is the follow up to their "Tormented" album and here we have many of the features that we love from this band. In fact, there are some welcome changes like faster riffs and better guitar solos. Chris Reifert played drums on Death´s "Scream Bloody Gore" album and later founded classic band Autopsy, we also have Danny Coralles on guitars. Here we have the guttural vocals that have made Autopsy and Abscess famous and also here there are slow as hell riffs like the ones Autopsy used to play (check the middle part of "Through the Cracks of Death"). The sound of the recording is really much better than in all previous Abscess albums, specially on the guitars where you can listen the great riffs that this guys use and the amazing guitar solos. A classic.
