From the Cradle to Enslave is an EP by Cradle of Filth. It contains two original tracks; the title track and "Of Dark Blood and Fucking". The rest of the disc consists of two cover versions and a re-recording of a track from the album Dusk... and Her Embrace. The album was recorded during a period of upheaval for the band, with Gian Pyres and Nicholas Barker leaving prior to its release (Pyres would return for the recording of Midian) and Stuart Anstis and Les Smith departing the band soon afterwards.
From the Cradle to Enslave was the first of Cradle of Filth's songs to have an accompanying video. The video was directed by Alex Chandon, who also made the film Cradle of Fear, starring Dani Filth. It featured explicit images of nudity and gore and was released in two versions, edited and unedited.

CANAAN: A Calling to weakness CD Dark Metal 17 songs. Check AUDIO sample + Videos!!
Style: Dark Metal
CANAAN’s fourth full-lenght album, and without any doubt their most melancholic one. “A calling to weakness” music is much sharper, rougher, heavier, darker than ever before. The 17 songs of the album create an incredibly enthralling and mournful atmosphere - your next psychic black hole...

FORGOTTEN TOMB: Songs to Leave
Rare / sold out ORIGINAL CD on Selbstmord Services NOT RE-RELEASE!!!!!
Forgotten Tomb is undoubtedly the coolest band I have heard in a long time. It is so exciting to see that the true spirit of doom and black are kept alive in this blistering band. “Songs to Leave” are a collection of melancholic and sorrowful tunes that drag you deep into hell. The first track is “Entombed by Winter” and it is a brilliant opener. It starts slow; creepy noises are heard in the background, some kind of synthesizing effect that repeats itself repeatedly throughout the song. The voice in this particular track sounds a lot like Burzum (think “Dunkelheit” from Filosofem).

GREYSWAN: Thought – Tormented Minds CD Emotional-Gothic Metal. ANATHEMA, KATATONIA etc.
Debut album by Italian band GREYSWAN (have produced two demos in the past) and a very welcomed one indeed! A guitar-oriented, gloomy-“gothic” metal album, with keys and effects-loops (great ideas on that part!) in the background “darkening” the atmosphere. Great mid-tempo songs, with well worked bass and drum lines. As expected vocals (though a bit low in the mix) and lead guitars are the protagonists. All wrapped up with an excellent sound production that ‘flatters’ the band. I was quite happily surprised by this record at first but it failed to keep me thrilled to the end…especially because of the similarities with ANATHEMA, KATATONIA etc. but then again everyone has influences... So I think this is a sincere effort and it seems the band have successfully put in a lot of heart and inspiration in it. And the result is beautiful...

ETHEREAL: The Dreams Of Yearning CD Melodic Death Metal incl. Dark Tranquillity cover Check VIDEOS!
The music of the band almost naturally evolved into an extreme mixture of melody and intensity, which proved to be exactly what all band members were looking for. Ethereal Spawn’s debut, “Ablaze in Viral Flames” (with cover artwork by Niklas Sundin) was released March 28th 2000. It contains nine melodic Death Metal tracks including a cover of Dark Tranquillity’s “Punish My Heaven” and two instrumentals. The band received a lot of positive response to this release, the best example being the review that appeared in Aardschok magazine in july 2000. Ethereal Spawn also competed in Aardschok’s Metal Bash 2000 and the Metal Battle of 2001 and songs of the band were featured on several compilation CD’s
