Baby Tuckoo was an English hard rock / NWOBHM band, formed in Bradford, West Yorkshire England, United Kingdom in 1982. Their name is taken from the James Joyce novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. They're generally considered a part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
They released two albums with Rob Armitage (vocals), Neil Saxton (guitar), Andy Barrott (keyboards), Paul Smith (bass) and Tony Sugden (drums).
Prior to their recording career, Steve Holton (vocals) and Alan Tidswell (keyboards) were in the band.

Basically the recipe is a load of British 80s Heavy Metal, a load of German 80s Heavy Metal and a load of American 80s Heavy Metal. Translated into some well known bands that Crystal Eyes are proud to call influences we would end up somewhere around Judas Priest, Accept, Iron Maiden, Dio, Helloween, Saxon, Riot, 80s Black Sabbath, Rage, Manowar, Running Wild and a bunch of slightly softer bands from the 80s.

released through Agonia Recs. on CD. Nowadays this band is much better known and still kicks ass, but this early work of theirs explains why they succeeded later on. Because it fuckin’ rules! Bullet plays true Heavy Metal in its purest form, sounding reminiscent of AC/DC riffing-wise and Accept, because of the vocalist that sounds like Udo meets Bon Scott! The result is almost half an hour of pure Heavy Metal energy, consisting of 6 catchy anthems like “Bang Your Head”, “Leather Love” and “Heavy Metal Highway”.

A rare example of a two-man band! Thankfully the band managed to release a minor masterpiece all by themselves, which so few people got a chance to hear at the time, because this album was poorly distributed outside of Canada and has until recently been quite tricky to get hold of.
