Loud were formed in 1989 by Chris McLaughlin after leaving New Model Army. The band were critically acclaimed at the time and achieved some chart success before disappearing into the mysts of time.

One of the more obscure Pop Metal bands of the early 90’s is New York’s Trouble Tribe.

This band features singer Jimmy Driscoll , Adam Wacht on lead guitar, Eric Klaastad on bass, and Stephen Durrell on drums.

The band had a semi-hit on MTV with Here Comes Trouble.
It is a fairly decent pop metal disc by one of the lesser known bands of the hair metal era. This record has a few solid cuts including Tattoo, Here Comes Trouble, and the solid power ballad, In The End. The band also covered the Beatles’ Dear Prudence.

This vinyl is becoming more rare by the day. It is a nice little glam metal gem that is worth seeking out.

Heart is a rock band whose founding members came from Seattle, Washington, USA in the early 1970s. Going through several lineup changes, the only constant members of the group are sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson.The group rose to fame in the 1970s with their music being influenced by hard rock as well as folk music. After diminishing in popularity by the mid-1980s, the band created a major comeback in 1985, experiencing further success with their power ballads throughout the rest of the decade. By the mid-1990s, Heart left their 1980s' sound and went back to their hard rock roots which they continue to play today. They have sold over 30 million albums worldwide.Heart was ranked #57 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock".

Greatest Hits/Live is a compilation album released in 1980 by the hard rock band Heart. The album, their sixth album overall, was a collection of the band's most famous songs, along with two new singles; "Tell It Like It Is", and a cover of "Unchained Melody". Despite being a single, "Unchained Melody", was left off the compact disc version of the album due to CD limitations.

AVIARY: S/T [Esoteric Art -rock. Assimilating influences as diverse as Yes, Queen, ELP, the Beatles and classical music, they recorded this overblown debut that is characterized by high - pitched vocals and harmonies. Understandably this album has become a classic and a shout after item. We're heading back to the late 70s /early 80s when 'Pomp Rock was the Rockstyle most US bands preferred to play and so we got a lot of acts that only released one great LP and then disappeared into obscurity, just like AVIARY. This band from the Seattle area released only one record in 1979.

THE MOODY MARSDEN BAND Never Turn Your Back To The Blues ( Castle Communications) tape

MICKY MOODY and BERNIE MARSDEN are both ex-members of WHITESNAKE, the pair being the driving creative force for a string of highly successful albums and hit singles. Marsden has also briefly been a member of UFO as well as leading his own acts ALASKA and BABE RUTH. Moody made his mark with SNAFU and playing on every WHITESNAKE album until '1987'. The guitarist also had his own act, YOUNG N' MOODY in partnership with STATUS QUO tour manager/ associate songwriter Bob Young, with whom he recorded a handful of singles and an album ('Young & Moody") between 1977 and 1981. Legendary drummer COZY POWELL was also involved with the band.

.... it has darker themes and content than girls,girls,girls but it is still very much balls to the wall rock and sleaze roll,songs like shout at the devil,looks that kill,bastard,helter skelter,which is a cover version of a beatles song which is done well for a change,ten seconds to love etc are all so vital and essential ,it is just sublime ,this album reminds me of when i was just a lad and finding out what i was all about and bands like skid row,guns n roses and motley crue are all icons to me,this is a landmark album,if you are starting out in metal then get this,this is more than essential!
