White Rock-Metal (Christian)

The musicianship and songs are very good throughout this album of well crafted AOR. Shooting Star continued to toil in obscurity for years, never receiving the recognition they deserved, but It's Over Now remains a great album and gets two thumbs up!
The sound on It's Not Over is very similar to Foreigner, as new vocalist Keith Mitchell is reminiscent of Lou Gramm.
Of course the obligatory ballads like "We Can't Wait Forever" and "Blame It On The Night" were also included.

Impellitteri is a heavy metal band from USA formed and led by guitarist Chris Impellitteri. Chris Impellitteri has an amazing speed/shred style of playing. In 2008 Guitarworld Magazine officially named Chris Impellitteri as one of the Fastest Guitarists of all time. Included in the ranking were Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, and Yngwie Malmsteen

This CD introduced the band's more flowing style and it is totally full-fledged ripping. Each of the five tracks kicks ass.
The opening title track is fast and rapid, while "Visual Prison" has a solid chord rhythm. "Cross to Bear" has some sharp notes and leads, and shifts between slow-paced distortion, and piano sections. Good, melodic vocals. "The Young and the Ruthless" is rolling, with tight chorus chops, and "Glory" is a compact and intricate instrumental.

Brigade is the tenth studio album, eleventh overall, released by the popular rock/pop band Heart. Released in 1990 after a three-year gap between albums, the album featured the #2 Billboard Hot 100 hit "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You" and reached number three on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was followed by a successful world tour. Like its predecessor Bad Animals, the album is notable for a sharp decline in writing contributions from lead members Ann and Nancy Wilson, but would be the last of the three "comeback" Heart albums to do so.

This is Guardian's first album featuring Jamie Rowe in the vocals. The first Guardian album was a very mellow metal album. "Fire and Love" is a very mature and bold rock album. No other album was to be surpassed in the honesty of their lyrics. "Time stands still", "Forever and a day", "Never gonna say good-bye" and other lyrics kept me on my feet when I was feeling down. This is their best album by far, with Spirit-Inspired, powerful lyrics.

This album blew me away when I popped it into my CD player. It's hard to drive down the road without speeding while listening to it! :)

The magnificent return of the gods of melodic hard rock has brought outstanding results with this 2001 studio album, the first since 1991's 'Time to Burn'. Featuring guitarist/vocalist Dann Huff (Whiteheart, Megadeth). Ten tracks including, 'Combustion', 'You Will Be Mine', 'Over You' & 'Don't Leave Me In Love'.
