Touareg is the encounter of two guitarists captivated by the intermingling of different kinds of music and of new dimensions of sounds

Touareg brings together a range of instruments where technology and keyboards hold place of honor alongside guitars . These worlds of sounds and complex harmonies evoke fantasy landscapes that invite one to explore.

Transgender were born in Imola (Bologna) in 1997 wanting to explore an interaction between cultures and different musical genres. It’s elusive, systematically unsteady; although it embodies a plethora of styles and arrangements, there’s a clear idea of the game that lies underneath. The band itself finds it difficult to classify its incoherent attitude: from post-rock to alternative rock, passing through jazz and electronic music, paying great attention to and respecting all sound materials produced by cultures from all over the world, and after breaking music schemes, Transgender succeed in smashing also the linguistic ones. Woah… this is stunning, I did not expect this on my mail… never heard The Mutants in my life, and I didn't know what to expect based on the cover art... but one thing I'm sure that this isn't Heavy Metal, is Rock n' Roll baby!!! Well, somewhere I read that they describe themselves as "Afro-Garage-Mambo" description that incredibly enough, fits the band perfectly.

Ok, well to start describing this strange piece of music… ok, take music from those 70's porn films, some of those surf tunes, some music from Shaft, blues, tribal sounds, add some Hammond organs, saxophones, Blues, funky wah -wah guitars and there you have it: The Mutants!

Crazy crazy music this guys do, I bet my pancreas that Quentin Tarantino already got this one, and it's planning to put some of these tunes on his next movie! This songs are totally groovy! The funny thing is that when I hear some of these songs, can't stop thinking that I've listened this on a porn film or in one of those 60's Black-exploitation movies!

Seven piece Hamilton (Canada) band. "an eclectic fusion of hip-hop, jazz, groove, and rock" lots of these songs are going to get stuck in your head, at the same time they get your head spinning with radical political thoughts. There's not another band on the market doing this same thing, so don't miss it!

Sideproject of Growing Seeds, Zone Six and Liquid Visions members. Mostly instrumental psychedelic space rock jams and spaced out ambience by these German "masters of the universe." The guitar/bass/drums trio are at the center giving the music it's ROCK base, but the guitars trip out beautifully and synths are present for extra cosmic embellishment.

"Pollenflug" opens the set and defines the bands sound as heavy driving space rock with the emphasis on the ROCK.

It is just my kind of blues; slow and deep. Blue Me follows Leslie's last few entries; all covers. This is fine with me. No need to re-invent the wheel. Just do the greats as only the greatest can do them. Keep'em coming Leslie, keep'em coming. The samples do not do this CD justice.
