Reckless is the fourth studio album by the Canadian rock artist Bryan Adams. Released on October 29, 1984 through A&M Records, the album was a huge commercial success, selling over 5 million units in the United States alone. The album peaked at number 1 on the Billboard 200 and reached high positions in charts worldwide.[1] It was recorded at Little Mountain Sound Studios, Vancouver, Canada.
Six singles were released from the album: "Run to You," "Somebody," "Heaven," "Summer of '69," "One Night Love Affair," and "It's Only Love." All six singles made the top 15 on the US Billboard Hot 100, a feat that at the time had been accomplished previously only by Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

Ever wondered what happened to the Songs? You know the ones that just wouldn't let you go after listening to a record or seeing a good show? The ones that actually felt like being written from the heart? No worries. As far as Finnish powerpoprockers The Phantom Tones
The Phantom Tones flirts with guitar rock and punk with a good sense of pop sensibility. The band has enough songwriting skills for three your-average-popsters to share, and after four years of work the whole is beginning to look pretty seamless. The Phantoms have their target locked: they're here to play rock'n'roll with big guitars and catchy hooks for you to bite. So here's the declaration: Pop with buzzing guitars is what you really need.

BANGTOY 69: The demo (1998) [Tape] Check samples
Does anybody remember the good ol' days, when MTV videos were filled with lingerie-clad women driving sleek sports cars and hanging out with skinny, long-haired rockers?
Bangtoy 69 sure does. Heavily influenced by '80s metal, the hard-rocking Hollywood foursome -- vocalist Marcus Fraunce, bassist Rey Rey, drummer T.J. Storm, and guitarist Traci Lynne -- proudly plays the kind of music that used to sell records by the truckload.
"We never really made that transition the other bands did," Lynne says, referring to the '90s tendency to go altrock. "Our hearts really lie in the Skid Row, L.A. Guns, Motley Crue and that whole West Coast thing. That's what we like to do. We don't want to change things because we're not popular. I believe there's a market for it somewhere."
"We know the type of music we play isn't very prevalent right now, but it makes us very happy," Lynne insists. "We didn't cut our hair off and grow goatees and go out and buy rave clothes. And because of that, I think we're very pure to what we do. What makes us happy is playing hard rock -- straight-ahead hard rock."
