Gayle and Gillian Blakeney are Australian identical twins who performed together as actresses and as a dance/pop duo in the 1990s. Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on 9 July 1966. Gayle is older by nine minutes. They are most widely known for their stint in the soap opera Neighbours.
In 1990 they joined the cast of the soap opera Neighbours as Caroline (played by Gillian) and Christina (played by Gayle) Alessi. Gillian and Gayle left the show at different stages during 1992.
Following the success of former Neighbours actors Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan as recording artists, the Blakeneys went to England in 1991 to record with Stock Aitken Waterman originally as 'The Twins'. The resulting single, "All Mixed Up", became a modest club hit that year, and peaked at #74 in Australia.
After parting with Stock Aitken Waterman the Blakeneys made a brief return to Neighbours, eventually leaving the show in 1992.

This is from his first album, a guitar oriented collection of songs + a very good guitar power ballad: 'Fallin'
UK artist, but this music is commercial and melodic, specifically oriented to the US market: big arena guitars, anthemic choruses and good doses of keyboards.
A great blend of powerful guitar hard rockers with american AOR, perfectly balanced , skillfully produced, and pretty unknown to the big audience.
Highly Recommended.

"Bird of Paradise" is the debut single from former Thin Lizzy guitarist Snowy White's debut album White Flames, released in 1983. The single was released in 1984 and became White's biggest hit ever, reaching the Top 10 on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at #6. The song was the only single released from the album. It is White's signature song.

1983 "Bird Of Paradise" Pop Singles 3

White had been recommended to Pink Floyd by Kate Bush's former manager Hilary Walker, as they were looking for an additional guitarist for the live band on the In The Flesh tour in 1977. White's solo on "Pigs On The Wing", although ultimately not used for the Animals album version (it appears on the 8-track version), was his first time playing for the band. During the tour, White started off the show himself by playing bass on the song "Sheep", as well as soloing during "Have a Cigar" and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part VIII".

"Power and the Glory" is a single by heavy metal band Saxon from their 1983 album of the same name. It reached number 32 on the UK Singles Chart.
The song has a fast tempo and lyrics relating to war and battles. A music video was made for the song with band members running through a castle with dead dolls. Now, who can afford NOT seeing the video, hey?

Now, obviously the Saxon boys are way above average, so figure out the ensuring mayhem and destruction that will follow! Watch and learn!

L.A. Connection Lyrics
Rainbow - L.A. Connection Lyrics:

Oh, carry home my broken bones
and lay me down to rest
Forty days of cries and moans I guess
I've failed to pass the test
I've been sent away not a thing to say
I'm banished from the fold
I'm a fallen angel who's lost his
wings and left out in the cold

Ooooh L.A. connection
Oh L.A. connection
L.A. connection, yeah

Operator place a call keep secret but it through
Investigator knows it all he's at

PALLAS: Eyes In The Night (arrive alive)
1984 Eyes In The Night (Arrive Alive) / East West
Pallas is a Scottish band]

Packing up
Ready to leave
Heading out
It's been a good night
Now we're going home.
Heading out
Into the dark
Moving fast
Lights cut a path
Through the gathering gloom
Arrive alive...
We're heading for home
Before the dawn comes
Arrive Alive...
Eyes in the night
They're keeping me right
They're guiding me
Arrive Alive...
We're heading for home

Before the dawn comes
Eyes in the night
Keeping me right
Eyes in the night
Flying through
Towns cloaked in fog
Looking in
People asleep
Now they're safe and warm
Behind closed doors
Lying back
Feeling the speed
Knowing that
We're on the move
Now we're eating up the miles from home

MOTÖRHEAD: Motorhead (Scarce 1981 UK limited edition 7"PICTURE DISC single also including 'Over The Top', both tracks recorded live on their 1981 UK tour, clear PVC sleeve BROP124).

Motörhead recorded a live version, which was released as a 7" vinyl single in 1981. It fared much better than the original single and reached number six in the UK Singles Charts. Whereas the previous recording plays in E major, this recording plays in E♭.
The single uses recordings made in March 1981 while the band were on their four day "The Short, Sharp, Pain In The Neck Tour", as were the other tracks on the parent album, No Sleep 'til Hammersmith.

Bronze Records released a 7" picture disc, the A-side has the same picture as the cover and the B-side has a white Motörhead logo on black.

The track "Motorhead" is credited to Lemmy, the track "Over the Top" to Lemmy, Eddie Clarke, and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor.
