A.R.C: Home Made Wine + The Chase
Very obscure N.WO.B.H.M. extremely limited (200 copies) and very hard to get. The primitive, raw and gravelly vocals a similar to this of Tank, Motorhead and Sabre.

A.W.Howe-Haysom.Bass/Vocals.
C.Ashcroft-Drums.
Side 1: Home Made Wine.
Side 2: The Chase.
I assume this is a private pressing. The Hand Scratched Matrix Numbers Are: Side A;SJP 805A1 EG LYN 70 85(OR IT COULD BE 55,IT LOOKS LIKE A 5 SCRATCHED DIRECTLY BENEATH AN 8) BIBO.
Side B;DB SJP-805 B3 EG LYN -7056.
(Rock ’79)
The band were from Lincoln and this was their only release. The record is associated with both punk and NWOBHM genres which makes it doubly collectable. It is documented in a recent book called 45 Revolutions (by Mario Panciera) and also in the NWOBHM encyclopedia by Malc MacMillan. There was another NWOBHM band called Arc but they were totally unrelated to the A.R.C.

GASKIN: End Of The World LP [Rare gatefold N.W.O.B.H.M. Very good lyrics! Lars Ulrich loves them] Check samples!
GASKIN: End Of The World Rare N.W.O.B.H.M, on Rondelet Records. Very good lyrics and good classic songs like the godly "Despiser". Can't understand why Lars Ulrich had to pick "I'm no Fool" to put on the N.W.O.B.H.M compilation that he did a decade ago, I really don't know. There are so much better songs in this album!

amazing guitar work!,
Typical N.W.O.B.H.M creation from a band that should have made it really big but...unfortunately did not.
Really amazing guitar work!
DIAMOND HEAD: Sucking My Love 12" [Recorded live at the Reading Festival ‘82] Check video.
It must be annoying to see Metallica who virtually started as a DIAMOND HEAD tribute band become much bigger than them. However:
1) Maiden had Ron Smallwood as manager, DIAMOND HEAD had Reg Fellows, a local cardboard manufacturer
2)DIAMOND HEAD didn't sign to a major label quick enough
3)MCA wasnt the label that was right for them
4)Harris' mum was their tour manager
5)changed direction too soon
6)Pressing problems on Canterbury
7) Harris got fed up of metal and wanted to do pop music, if you've heard the unreleased stuff youll know.
