Old is new and retro is refreshing. Reinventing some key musical concept that worked for someone 10, 20 or 30 years ago is the widely perceived ticket to chart success. The Datsuns are The Stooges. Jet is The Small Faces. The Mars Volta is Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Beyonce Knowles is Donna Summer. The Rapture is Depeche Mode. Justin Timberlake is Michael Jackson and Robbie Williams is an assemblage of people including, but not limited to, Dean Martin, David Cassidy, Johnny Rotten and both Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise.

I love the energy on this album. It's a great, straightforward `classic rock' album with some 60's mod and psyche influences, but mainly 70's rock and 80's N.W.O.B.H.M influences. I usually play it full blast in the car, but it sounds equally as good on my hi-fi at home.

Good time Rockabily - Street Rock. Purveyors of hi-octane rock-n-Roll music is 100% boozed fueled rock-n-roll with no apologies. Greased-back hair and Gretsch guitars. The Trip Daddys aren't your typical bar band, but then again, they've never wanted to be. These cool cats are about black leather, tattoos and hot rods in the garage. Band leader Craig Straubinger describes the group's style as a mix of rockabilly and psychobilly (a hopped up, punked-out version of the traditional 50's rock and roll and country combo), but says you don't have to be in the "billy" clique to appreciate the show. Since the band's inception in 1995, the Trip Daddys have quickly gained a reputation as one of St. Louis's hottest live acts. They have shared the stage with the likes of Chuck Berry, Nashville Pussy and Hank III, and Brian Setzer. Besides Setzer, the group looks to an early Elvis, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and Black Sabbath for musical inspiration. Or as Straubinger says, "Any kind of big guitar rock we've ever liked ends up in the show." Guitar playing is an integral part of the music - wild, scorching and hellbent with no apologies and Straubinger at the helm.

Tristessa is a band that will satisfy all thrashers. They come from Greece and this is their second demo release since 1994 when they started the band. I think the best description for their music is the one they do give : thrash n roll. Influences can be found in bands like Metallica, Testament, Sodom and Motorhead. Their songs are perfect for a metal party and I am sure that with your support they will be able to release something even better and achieve to sign a contract. Well done!

After ascendancy i bought ember to inferno and was blown away it is a metal masterpiece.Ascendany is briallint but theres not one bad track on it,but this is perfection.It has the brillant solos and double guitar riffs of ascendancy but lots more of the epic riffs like in light to the flies (from ascendany).It is faster is well ,key tracks are pillars of serpent great brual metal then my favourite track fugue (a revalation) which has the best riff of any trivium song.all songs are excellent though and you can here metallica influences in the guitar work as well this is the way metal should go , trivium are a breth of fresh air to a becoming cliched scene BUY IT YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED

Trucker is based out of Lawrence, KS. They accomplishments include being featured on FarmClub in 2000, B.E.A.M grant recipient, and in 2002 they were named by the AMA as one of the Top 50 unsigned bands in the U.S.
Their latest release, Nothing To See Here is a very broad representation of what Trucker was and what it continues to become. With older tracks like "Neither Nor I", "Never Wanna Be Without It" and "Junkies Anthem" combined with newer tracks like "Do You Even Care" and "Two Days" the band wanted to chronicle its 7 years of song writing the best they could in one CD. Although there were 15 more songs tracked for this record Trucker felt and album with all new tracks would not truly represent the past and the current. In a way it was putting some of the songs they still believe in to rest and freeing them to pursue new avenues of song writing and recording in the future.
